The metal frame is not as long as the table top; you lose a few inches since the legs are not flush with the edges. During to the reduced length, it didn't fit my bed frame. I'd send it back, but it is huge and heavy.I ended up dropping 10 bucks at the hardware store for some longer hardware as a stop-gap. They didn't have enough in the right size, so I had to order more via Amazon (30 bucks). The connector pieces included are M8 x 1.25 40mm, and M8 × 1.25 50mm. The hardware store had two M8 x 1.25 70mm, and two M8 x 1.25 60mm (see photo). I ordered M8 x 1.25 110mm, and I'm hopeful that it will give me enough room on both sides so that the desk is stable and works as designed.Even if it works, you can see the unsightly gap connected by the longer screws in my photoIt could be a couple inches high i have a big high one but its working great i love itThe table was well packaged with no damaged parts (all of them were there plus extra bolts and nuts). No problems with the threads and everything lined up. Spent no more than 30-40 minutes assembling it. Worked just as advertised. We would purchase this again.I was so excited to assemble this only to be let down by the brackets not lining up while trying to connect the center bars at Step 1.*UPDATE* After speaking with customer service the instructions need wording so people know that the small brackets go inside the bars. It was still pretty flimsy in the middle so I bought a couple of steel c-shaped bars from Home Depot to put inside the bars for a more sturdy table. It's much lighter in material than their previous tables which I don't mind. I wish it was engineered to be more sturdy upon assembly completion. The only thing I don't like is that the backstop on the desk isn't tight. It's held in by dowels and can lift right off.The top part that gets placed by Dowels into the holes (the Backboard) is not connected by screws. The moment you touch it, it moves and lifts up. Very annoying! I removed it and plugged the holes with Hot Glue and am using it as just the Table for my granddaughter's room. Despite that one little bump, it is still exactly what I was looking for and I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an oversized Bed Tray Table! Just don't bother with that backboard. Not worth the trouble of trying to glue it down as the glue will not stick and the backboard is lifted above the holes. The Table itself...is perfect for kids to use for just about everything! Pricy, but worth it!This table is great!! I love it.The only thing they could work on is the stability of the wheels when moving it. It wants to tip over if you don’t grab it with 2 hands. The reason being is that the castor wheels flip around displacing the center of balance. But this is going to be the case, with any of these kinds of tables, that have these kinds of wheels. The only fix would be to widen the leg base at more of an angle out toward the front and back and put over-center wheels on them. But other than that, I love this table. It’s not hard to move it at all! A small inconvenience for such a great table. It’s very well built, a breeze to assemble, and nice color! And the added angle supports, connecting the legs to the top, was one of the biggest selling points to me because it is a point of failure for items with legs. It is Integral to an item that is often moved back and forth.Almost none of the other over bed desks come with this feature.I’m just soo pleased with it!!!I bought this over bed table for a knee surgery I had back in April. I assembled it myself without any issuesIt was perfect for eating while sitting in bed or working from home in bed while I was recovering. I have a large engineering laptop and had no issues with it fitting on the table. I have a metal bed frame with a box spring and a queen mattress and had no issues with the height (make sure to measure before purchasing, the height is not really adjustable). The wheels were perfect and rolled along my area rug easily (low to medium pile). If you feel strongly about it you could probably get nice casters for it though I didn't see it as necessary. The table needed to be lifted over the footboard of my bed frame (I knew this before purchasing), so most of the time I just kicked it up against the footboard and slept with it at the foot of the bed. At the time it was easier to do this than get out of bed every time I wanted to move the table. I'm relatively short so it worked out fine, but if you are taller or have large feet it may be a nuisance while sleeping. Now that I'm recovered and don't need it in bed, I use it up against my windows for my plants or roll it against the back of the couch and use counter stools as a table to snack at for additional seating in front of the TVHighly highly recommend, especially if you're going to be staying off your feet for a while for surgery recoveryThis overbed table is really strong and sturdy. Such high quality.I have a double bed, which is 4ft 6in, and as it is bespoke, it is a lot higher than a standard bed, and so I did worry that I would not have enough legroom, but this table goes very high. It is just perfect. It is very very easy to put together and moves around easily, even on carpet, as it is on castors. It is heavy so it is strong..I highly recommend this table.Seller was great to deal with and helped immediately with an issue that was out of their control. Hard to find these so in all, not a bad option.
